ABOUT:
"The SHH is an honor society for high school students enrolled in Spanish and/or Portuguese, at present there are over 3,500 national and international chapters of the SHH. The mission of the Sociedad Honoraria Hispánica is to recognize high school achievement in Spanish and Portuguese and to promote interest in Hispanic and Luso-Brazilian studies."
REQUIREMENTS:
"Any secondary school student who has maintained an honor average in the study of Spanish or Portuguese for a minimum of three semesters and is in the 10th grade or higher is eligible to be a member of the SHH. It should be remembered that the SHH is an honor society for those students of high academic achievement."

We encourage our students to compete for scholarships! The Spanish Honor Society has some great scholarships that student members should apply for, it is a great learning experience even if you don’t win. For more information visit
Our Plan At Lakeside:
We will meet 1-2 times a month to discuss oportunities coming. We encourage our club members to interact with hispanic culture by going to spanish-speaking resturants/ events, tutoring, raising money to help Hispanic lives, and many more! We offer tutoring every Tuesday morning at 7:05a.m in Dr. Barbara’s room (117)
